This New Year, I made a few resolutions. The first thing I told myself I would do this year is get all A's on my report card. I want to do better this semester to have a shot to get into a good college. My dad has been encouraging me to do better and not settle for B's, so I decided it's time to do better. I want to get more organized, that way I can get all my work done and still have some free time. I want to work on my problems with procrastination, because I'll end up getting better grades.
I also want to take advantage of extra credit opportunities. If I do, I have a better shot at getting the grades I want. I've decided that I should study more for tests, because tests are a big percentage of my grades. I usually don't study well for most tests, and I'm going to need to improve on my study skills for when it's extremely important in college. I wanna study at least 3 days in advance for a test, and to look over the material at night so I have a better concept of what we're learning.
Nice work identifying a goal and three concrete steps you can take to get there.
