Now that I'm at EHS, I decided I would do softball. As most people know at the school, my dad is the coach of high school baseball. Most people kind of expected me to play softball automatically. My family lives, breathes, and eats baseball. It's basically in my blood.
There was one thing that scared me the most about softball though; I had never played. I was so worried I would be one of the worst players on the team, and make a fool out of myself. I know I had watched more baseball games than anyone in their life would want to, but it still made me nervous. I wasn't exactly "properly trained", but with the help of my dad, I was a little bit more prepared to go to practice.
So far, I've been doing pretty good. I'm not the best on the team, but I'm not the worst. I don't think I'm that amazing, but I'm picking it up pretty quick. I noticed one of my strong points is bunting. Hopefully, I'll be able to be one of the best players on the team, but I know that won't be for awhile.
